- Well, with my old 80MB IBM 2.5" drive, I used to get about 800k/s (all
- these figures are according to SysInfo). My current 420MB seagate 3.5"
- eide drive gets up to about 1.7MB/s. On my current drive, I get about
- 1.2MB/s using dta, didn't have dta with the 2.5" drive though. One note
- about the dta speeds, I was using the scsi direct version of AFS which
- may have made a difference.
